“Ninety percent of all millionaires become so through owning
real estate. More money has been made in real estate than in all industrial
investments combined. The wise young [person] or wage earner of today invests
[their] money in real estate.” -Andrew Carnegie
The thing about
real estate is it serves as an anchor. Where you live becomes your home base. It
is the place that memories are made. It grows with you. While your address can
change over the years, but the memories and the connection with those memories
are still anchored to your home. Each investment property added to your portfolio
can have a profound effect on your life’s “story.” When chosen correctly with
the right guidance, it can create financial freedom. I have witnessed real estate
change lives over the 24 years in this business.
Real estate is
more than just selling houses to me. My clients put their faith and trust in me
to help them make one of the biggest financial investments. I take that task
very seriously. My job is not to tell you what you want to hear, but to tell
you what you need to hear while backing it with facts. Real estate is local. Being
a student of the market in that local area is essential for advising clients. My
clients rely on me to provide details to help them to make the most educated
decision possible. I am their advocate, their partner, their advisor and their confidant.
Some could say I am their partner in crime!
Being from
Arlington, I have had a front row seat to the ongoing changes in the DFW
Metroplex. I have had the gift of being
a small part of some of those changes. I
feel like you only get out of a community what you put into it. It is my civic responsibility to give back to
communities that have given so much to me.
Community is woven into the fabric of our business as it allows me to
give a unique perspective to our clients.
I am a proud
alumni of Arlington High School (Kick ‘em). I attended UTA and later graduated
from Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth with a degree in Advertising/Public
Relations. I have served as a Board of Director for the Arlington Chamber of
Commerce, been a founding member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce Women’s
Alliance, a Board of Director for the Arlington Board of Realtors and an active
volunteer in our community. To say I am local is putting it mildly!
My family is my
everything. I married one of my childhood best friends, Mike in 1998. We are
recent empty nesters (which is weird as our house has always been full of kids).
We have a son, Ben, who attends Texas A&M and a daughter, Ella, who attends
University of Oklahoma. We have two bonus furry kids, Willie and Molly. When not working (which is rare), you will
find us playing in the mountains.
